Afsona usually walks to school. She likes the long narrow street with the trees.

She is carrying two bags, and one of them is not hers. Her little brother is standing at the corner with a broken shoe. Every morning he walks with her; this morning he is waiting.
"Do you know the time?" he asks. He knows the answer already.
